Keanu Reeves’ residence was once again a target for burglary, according to law enforcement sources. Burglars wearing ski masks reportedly broke into his Los Angeles home on Wednesday evening, prompting the LAPD to respond to an anonymous call about a potential trespasser around 7 PM. Upon arrival, officers conducted a search but found no one.
Later at 1 AM, police returned to the scene when an alarm on the property was triggered. Security cameras revealed multiple individuals in ski masks smashing a window and entering the house. The culprits allegedly took a firearm from the home before fleeing. It remains unclear if any other items were stolen, but fortunately, Keanu was not at home during the incident.
Detectives are currently reviewing videos from the home and the surrounding neighborhood for additional clues. They are particularly focused on investigating whether the initial call to the police was made by someone surveying the house.
This is not the first time the ‘John Wick‘ star’s residence has faced such incidents. In 2014, there were two consecutive intrusion attempts, and earlier this year, Keanu obtained a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker who had reportedly visited his home.
