TransCanada, the company behind the Keystone I pipeline, first reported that 187 gallons of oil was spilled in South Dakota, later upping the estimate to 16,800 gallons… or about the amount of 1.5 oil trucks. That may not seem too bad, but there’s a hefty chance that it wasn’t conventional crude that spilled – and the company won’t confirm what exactly did leak. But activists fighting the pipeline for almost a decade are convinced that it was diluted bitamin. RT America’s Alexey Yaroshevsky explains the “chemical cocktail.”
